Position: Senior Software Engineer, SDET
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer, SDET to join our team at GoTo. In this role, you will be responsible for test planning, automation, execution, analysis, collaboration, and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in increasing the delivery speed of our team by modernizing and maintaining test automation frameworks and suites across various cross-functional teams. As a Senior SDET, you will have the opportunity to deeply understand our existing system and features and become a lead engineer in one of our ITSG teams. You will also be actively involved in creating and implementing testing strategies across teams. We are looking for someone who continuously challenges the “why” and how it serves our customers.
Requirements:
– 3-5 years of relevant, professional software testing experience and mentoring experience
– Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
– In-depth knowledge of various software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices including regression testing, performance testing, load testing, and security testing
– Extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks and scripts using industry-standard tools and libraries such as Selenium, Appium, or similar
– Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or similar
