Job Description:
Ardent is seeking a highly motivated AI/ML Data Analyst to join our team. This is a remote position.
Role and Responsibilities:
As an AI/ML Data Analyst, you will support data-driven initiatives at USCIS by utilizing machine learning, predictive analytics, and data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI. Your responsibilities will include:
– Designing and developing scalable AI/ML models to support agency objectives, risk assessments, performance improvements, and fraud detection.
– Transforming federal program data into actionable insights through interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI.
– Collaborating with federal business owners, data stewards, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver advanced analytics solutions.
– Utilizing Python, R, and SQL to clean, transform, and analyze structured and unstructured data.
– Supporting the development of automated data pipelines and data visual storytelling aligned with agency KPIs and strategic plans.
– Presenting findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior government executives.
– Ensuring compliance with Federal Data Strategy, privacy, Section 508, and security policies (e.g., FISMA, FedRAMP).
– Participating in agile ceremonies and contributing to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and demos.
Requirements:
– U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a [Public Trust] clearance.
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
– 3-7 years of experience applying AI/ML techniques to real-world problems, preferably in a federal or public sector environment.
– Demonstrated expertise in Tableau and Power BI dashboard design and publishing.
– Strong proficiency in Python, R, and SQL for data analysis, modeling, and transformation.
– Experience working with large-scale federal datasets (e.g., CMS, VA, DoD, DHS, HHS).
– Familiarity with government reporting standards, data governance, and data security policies.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government).
– Familiarity with MLOps or deploying models within secure, compliant environments.
– Certifications in Tableau, Power BI, or cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
– Experience with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices in government projects.
– Working knowledge of Section 508 compliance and data accessibility standards.
