Web Designer

Omnia Creative, a leading web development and SEO company based in Southern New Jersey, is seeking a talented and driven Web Designer to join our dynamic team. At Omnia Creative, we specialize in providing web-based solutions to hundreds of small to mid-sized businesses across the nation. Role and Responsibilities:

As a Web Designer at Omnia Creative, you will be responsible for creating unique and visually appealing user experiences. Your key responsibilities will include:

– Executing all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to the development team
– Conceptualizing original website design ideas that prioritize simplicity and user-friendliness
– Creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate design ideas
– Presenting and defending designs to peers and executive-level stakeholders
– Establishing and promoting design guidelines, best practices, and standards

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

– 1-2 years of proven work experience as a web designer
– A strong portfolio showcasing previous or current projects
– Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
– Knowledge of Responsive Web Design and Mobile Optimization
– Excellent visual design skills with a focus on user-system interaction
– Creative problem-solving abilities
– Up-to-date knowledge of web trends, techniques, and technologies
– Experience with Microsoft Office
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Strong organization and time management skills
– Self-motivation and creativity
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
– Strong technical and design skills
– Basic coding experience (experience with CSS, SVG, or Javascript/jQuery/GSAP is a plus)

This is a 3-month contract-to-hire position with a starting salary based on experience.
