Position: Senior Manager, Commercial Analytics & Insights

Role Summary: We are seeking a Senior Manager, Commercial Analytics & Insights to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing valuable insights and recommendations to the Commercial organization. You will work closely with a talented team to drive growth and optimize our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement a strategic data and analytics roadmap for the Commercial organization
– Act as an analytical thought leader, utilizing data from various sources to drive decision-making and improve market mix modeling
– Provide insights to support operational decision-making and drive growth across all areas of the company
– Lead and coach the Commercial Analytics & Insights team, providing innovative analyses and synthesizing insights for executives and cross-functional leaders
– Partner with Brand Management and Finance teams to build forecasts, provide category trends, and support the development of Thrasio’s Annual Operating Plan
– Conduct scenario planning to inform key decisions and drive growth and increased margins
– Assess market size and opportunities to guide product strategy
– Define standardized metrics and reporting requirements for the Commercial organization
– Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve profitability and market share
– Partner with senior leaders, brand teams, marketing experts, and finance and technology teams to enhance data utilization and decision-making processes
– Conduct A/B tests to optimize titles, images, and conversion rates

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a quantitative field with at least 8 years of experience
– Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
– Experience leading complex analyses and managing a team of analysts
– Attention to detail and excellent quality control
– Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse stakeholders
– Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor content for different audiences
– Proficiency in business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Looker and PowerBI
– Experience with Excel and SQL, Python, or other database programming languages
– Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or dbt
– Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with experience in pricing, marketing analytics, promotions, and inventory planning

Requirements:

– Experience in consumer product goods and e-commerce
– Familiarity with Amazon’s Seller Central platform
– Experience with data modeling and/or data architecture
– Knowledge of forecasting tools, lift models, or promotional analytics
– Exposure to digital shelf analytics or retail media performance tools
